Shift: 9am-5pm ET

Client is enhancing its new verticals grocery experience. You will be joining a small team responsible for ensuring that we are able to source and purchase grocery items to fulfill customer orders in full to the best of our ability. This role will include proactively purchasing items and possibly making real-time substitution decisions when needed. To succeed in this role, you will need strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills, along with a solid understanding of grocery products and categories. You will be ensuring that Client provides an exceptional service experience by going above and beyond to secure fresh, accurate, and high-quality grocery items for customers.

We're excited about you because...

• You have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent amount of work experience.
• You have 1 year of experience in a fast-paced grocery, retail, buying, merchandising, or fulfillment role.
• You are highly motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple grocery orders or priorities simultaneously.
• You are a natural problem solver, comfortable making real-time purchasing and substitution decisions when no predefined solution exists.
• You have strong written communication skills, including clear documentation and concise internal communication.
• You are above average in technological fluency.

Bonus points for...

• Familiarity with G-Suite and Slack.
• Previous experience in grocery buying, store operations, inventory management, or order picking/fulfillment.
