| | Status: Full Time - 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) | Entity: Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital | Department: Facilities Management Job Summary: Completes electrical maintenance functions throughout the hospital and Facilities’ supported areas. Job Responsibilities: Performs general electrical repairs and preventative maintenance tasks on electrical systems, motors, emergency generators, and other electromechanical equipment. Responds as assigned to emergency codes and procedures. Uses various tools associated with electrical maintenance including hand and power tools and electrical testing equipment. Works on other maintenance related tasks as the needs of the department require. Skills and Attributes: Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Works under minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Position Requirements: Work Experience No experience required Education High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher required upon hire Licensure/Certification/Registration Electrician - Journeyman or Master Electrician’s license in state of Kentucky required upon hire Organizational Responsibilities: Supports Owensboro Health’s Mission, Vision, Core Commitments, and business interests.
