Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center® is a 336-bed facility that is part of the seven-hospital Valley Health System serving Northwest Las Vegas community. Job Description:
Provides coordination of patient and staff education to support, protect, and promote breastfeeding.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience, at least one year in obstetric setting with focus on the breast-feeding process required.
Technical Skills:
Demonstrate a working knowledge of the current Nevada State Board of Nursing Practice.
License/Certification:
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada is required. Association with professional nursing associations related to practice. Current IBCLS/IBCLC or CLC certification is required. Current BLS and NRP required.
